These bulbs work just fine and are the correct brightness but they are shaped a little differently than other bulbs of the same style. The stem coming off the part you screw in p until the round part bulb forms is about 1/2 inch longer than most other brands. So these do not look a flush. I do not really care because that is not my deal but I can see how if you were showing a house or having a group of home decorators over for dinner this could be a problem.

In summary, work fine but the glass is shaped a little differently than other brands.

Very satisfied with these. I hope they don't stop making them!! Better light than the compact fluorescent bulbs CFL type.

I needed these for bathroom vanity and they work great. The energy savers are not bright enough for that area and regular bulbs are hard to find at a reasonable price.

This type of bulb is going away but these are great for the bathroom and bedroom areas and they are being replaced by LCD.
