I kept hearing about LED lighting, and how it would help me save on my energy bills, so I decided to purchase some for my home. I bought these for the 2 lamps I have in my living room. I previously was using 2 compact fluorescent bulbs, that I had to change several times over the last few years. When I put the new LED lights in, I was worried that the room would not be bright enough. It turns out these are even brighter than what I was previously using, and the fact that they are dimmable means I can get the exact light output I desire. These bulbs have a 25 year life expectancy (assuming I use them every day, which I won't, so I'm expecting an even longer lifetime out of these), so even though they are not as cheap initially as the old style bulbs I was using, these will pay for themselves many times over. My energy bills will start to go down, and I will pretty much never have to change my bulbs again...what more could I ask for! I plan on purchasing some more of these for the rest of my house ASAP.
