Where this bulb shines is how well it dims. (Pun and irony intended) The bulb dims as well as the halogens that I am replacing. From the brightest to the faintest hint of light the bulb steadily and evenly dims without a flicker. I am only using a traditional (old) dimmer knob that one turns to adjust brightness. So I give it a perfect score for dimming.
Also, the bulb has been silent at all levels of dimmable light levels. No humming or buzzing. I bought 1 PAR16 bulb from a gray and blue big box hardware store and a different PAR16 from an orange and white big box hardware store that each buzzed; I immediately returned them and when to the internet for alternatives.
The color of the light shed by the bulb is best described as a wide circle of truly warm light from the outside edge of the circle that fades to cool light about halfway towards the center of the circle with the central area of the circle filled with cool light. The transition area between the warm and cool areas of light is smooth and not harsh. The light's color was not what I was hoping for when I made my purchase but I liked it enough at this price point to order 2 more bulbs. The luminous intensity output: 330LM would be in the cool central area of cool light.
The diameter of the light area cast by the bulb is as wide as the flood Par16 halogens that I am replacing. However because of the warm outer circle part of the light and the cool inner part of the light the width of the light area cast by the bulb at first looks a little like a spot par16 instead of a flood par16. Again, not what I was hoping for when I made my purchase but I liked it enough at this price point to order 2 more bulbs.
My 4 star rating includes the bulb's light quality, and dimming ability at its very competitive price point.

Yeah, the light does appear a little cooler than comparable halogens but is still very good and passes for warm in my book. Dims all the way as promised and no flickering at all. Most importantly, it fits in my track lighting fixtures where most other LEDs do not. Was initially skeptical based on previous LED experiences and the $10 tag but it turns out to be an absolute steal. These are really night lights, but they were Cool color not the warm color like stated in the add. but work okay.
