I installed 3 of these in our bedroom in probably about 30 mins. Similar to the other reviewers, I was a little disappointed by the brightness. Since I was simply using these for bedside reading lights it wasn't worth returning them, but don't expect them to be your primarily light source.

I desperately needed something that didn't require an electrician as those are hard to come by in the rural area in which our lake house is located. These lights appeared to fit our needs so I ordered 2 of them. I was not disappointed.

I am not sure I agree with other reviewers that these lights aren't bright. We have to remember this is battery powered and the bulbs are not 100 watt bulbs. If you need an area to be very brightly lit, perhaps this is not the product for you. For us, hanging two of them about 18 inches apart gave us exactly what we needed! Not too much light, not too little.

Installing these was as easy as the video shows. I actually installed them all by myself while my husband was at a meeting. It took less than 30 minutes and BAM let there be light. In addition, once installed I discovered that one remote worked both lights. A pleasant surprise I hadn't thought of when I ordered them.

My only con and it's a little one is that I chose bronze color and the cover that attaches to my white ceiling was a bit less than eye appealing. So, I did what any do-it-yourselfer would do, I painted them white. We get compliments on them all the time.

I would definitely recommend these for the ease of installation, the price point at which they are offered, the fact that they are battery powered and the usefulness of the remote.
