Do not expect this light to light up a room, but it is cool looking. It's like a colored spot light that has a span of about 3' diameter. We found the best use is from the ceiling, but still looks neat if used in a desk lamp without a shade. I do have issues with the remote. When I received it, the battery had enough juice to try all the colors, turn it off, then on.. that was it. I replaced the CR2025 battery and still have problems. The remote works fine now, but we only use the remote to turn the light on/off (we don't turn the light off at the switch or you can't use the remote). After using the remote to turn off the light, it turns ITSELF back on after 3 hrs EVERYTIME.

I ordered this for my daughter for Christmas and BOY was she shocked; but not in a good way! This light is weak to be nice about it. Plus the "Probe" function does not even work. Bright and dim is a little to none. I was hoping to change out the bulb in her room for a nice color-changing light but when I did, I couldn't see anything. The whole room was almost dark; on the brightest settings, you couldn't see anything. It was like I stuck a dollar store flashlight on the ceiling and turned it on. Plus, the remote has to be damn near on top and facing the bulb to even work. I am so upset with this purchase! Buyer beware of any good comments on this piece of crap!

at first i didnt think this product would be as great as it sounded. i was deployed and in my little area of the tent i had my light on the other side of my bed. i didnt want to crawl across my bed with my dirty uniform after a 12 hour shift, so i decided to invest some money into this little light. it was a great investment. it continued to work the entire time i was deployed. the light responded to the remote past 10 feet, all the colors were very different from each other and was bright enough to light up the area. amazing product.
