The lanterns are beautiful. They are eye catching and look good. But my purpose in buying them was for the purpose of solar light. The solar light is weak and for decoration more than light. The price was average I found similar in stores around my area.

Really looks and feels good metal and glass construction and clean design but light is much dimmer than the other solar lamps I purchased at the same time. Nice item. It was larger than I thought it would be and nicely made. Had to make a few minor adjustments. The handle needed to be twisted to another position inside the lantern to keep it from popping out the solar unit. Thought the light would be a little brighter, but worked out for what I wanted it. Junk. Light was weak but it stopped working completely after just a few days. Bought a pair of cheaper lanterns that are working fine in the same location, so it's not the amount of daylight it was seeing.
