Nice glow. Attractive, but protrudes considerably behind the sun (I had planned to put it against something). Has separate solar charger. It is metal and is very well made (took me forever to take it apart for what I wanted!).

I purchased this solar Sun stake light, along with the Moon stake light, to use outside our RV when we travel. These are so much nicer looking, and easier to use, then the conventional awning string lights that many RVers hang. When we pull into the campground we just turn on the switch and poke them in the ground. They "charge" quickly and give off a nice glow at night. After two months of use, I have discovered a problem.....the black solar gathering unit on the pole collects water when it rains! The solar light is still working, but I do not know how long it will last like this. I have tilted the black unit so it is vertical with the pole (and not horizontal with the ground) and am hoping this will let it drain quickly after we have a rain showers. Just not sure what it going on, must be a bad seal.
But, it is a beautiful design and will continue to look pretty during the day after the internal parts eventually corrode. So, if you like Sun images like I do then you will be happy. If you want the night glow be prepared for the unit to be faulty.
