The instructions do not include a critical first step. The instructions tell you to open the back panel and insert batteries. However, before you can do that you have to break off a back panel. Nothing tells you to do that or that it is ok to break that off. I certainly do not want to break something that could damage the light. So you need to add a step to the instalation instruction.Gordon Kulberg

We bought this to use above our sliding door as a light over our deck steps. We have it set to stay on for 15 seconds. It turns on the second the door opens or if there is any movement within 15-20 feet of it. We have had this now for a couple of months and highly recommend it if you want a motion-activated light without the wires.
