Item was installed in an area where a brighter light was needed but I didn't want to pay for the extra wattage charge that would come with a larger conventional bulb. I am pleased with the performance so far.

I have been looking for 100 watt equivalent bulbs and these have met my expectations. After installing them, I noticed the brightness.

Put this in the lamp and it went out after two days. Not what you expect from a new bulb, especially a $30 bulb. I sent it back. So much for energy saving bulbs. Bring back the incadescents!
