20 bulbs for under $20 compared to the usual $5 or so each for name brand bulbs? Can't beat the price and as far as I can tell they work great. I've only been using them for a couple of months so can't attest to the longevity. They look exactly like the bulb I replaced except maybe a little shorter. They were shipped promptly. No complaints.

We were glad for the review to NOT touch these bulbs with your bare hands as then they no longer work. So just use gloves or a towel when installing. Can't beat this price, it's like half of the cost of Home Depot or Lowes. Will buy more when we need them. Halogen bulbs do run HOT so would not recommend for a lamp, but rather for a high up hanging fixture that kiddos can't reach easily.

If you have a lot of fixtures that use these bulbs, this is the way to go. I won't have to buy any more any time soon. These are brighter than the 40w bulbs that came brand new with the fixtures. Some were broken, so for the same place to replace those few, I have plenty of extras now. Also came well packed.

Previously, I had purchased this type of bulb from Home Depot (Feit Electric brand). When I replaced 1 bulb in a set of 3 hanging pendants this bulb was noticeably dimmer, and it provided 10-20% less light for the kitchen counter.

That said, a 24 pack of these bulbs at Home Depot is almost $100. The 20-pack of these bulbs were about 1/3 the price per bulb. My kitchen is very well lit, so I just decided to replace the other two pendant bulbs to make them all match.

If you need these to provide bright lighting look somewhere else.
