This is a very slick kit to hook up to your MP3 player or stereo system. The kit is designed well and gives you plenty of options when it comes to both price and the size of your setup.
It consists of a small plastic light controlling box called the Apollo Jammer, as well as several LED light tubes, a flexible adhesive backed light strip, and an aluminum light puck that all connect together into any layout you'd like. The tubes, controller, and wiring are all very easy to setup with no need to solder, or to use other complicated splicing procedures.
The LEDS are very bright and can display an almost endless variation of colors, flashing patterns, and brightness levels. Setup is simple. You connect an audio output source from your MP3 player or home theater amplifier to the Jammer with either of the two cords included in the kit, and then layout and mount the tubes, pucks, or flexible strip in whatever arrangement you want.
The Jammer has adjustments for sensitivity and both pattern and color outputs that will change with the music from your MP3 player. An extra really handy feature is the DMX port on the Jammer that's also able to be used to connect and control most DMX lights. Simply plug them in and the Jammer will include them into the patterns it puts out along with the LED tubes.
Another nice feature is the ability to start with a smaller kit and build up to a larger one if you wish. They sell several different sizes of LED bars, pucks, and LED strips separately so you can build as large a setup as you want without breaking the bank.
