Although my dog has chewed off my magnet, this light is still the best. It has the option for the side lights or the top light (like a flashlight) or both. The battery has a great life making it pretty bright and it has been very convenient. I will likely buy 2-3 more when it goes back on sale.

The construction seems pretty rugged but the amount of light given off leaves much to be desired. I would not buy again.

I received this as a gift, I love tools and I always like Craftsman tools, the quality and the price can't be beat. This is a rechargeable work light, like the old-fashioned kind I had in my garage, except there is no cord, and no incandescent bulb to break. It has both AC and DC adapters, NiMH batteries (better than NiCad but not quite up to Lithium-Ion level, but more than adequate), and it's bright, handy, and seems quite durable. It has a swivel hangar, a magnet for hanging on your car, and a spotlight at one end that allows it to double as a flashlight. Really cool for the tool bench. Very happy with it.

This unit is really bright. I bought this for the magnetic piece that attaches to the side. I love that while working on my car. Light stays on the entire time I'm working and haven't had it die once. Well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone.
