Brilliant. I got tired of paying $7 or more for the GU24 bulbs that fit my locally-mandated outdoor lights' bases. (I found out how much the GU24 bulbs cost quite soon, because, as we all know, CFLs don't last nearly as long as advertised, do they, folks? I've had to replace 4 of them in 2 years of ordinary use.) So now, although I still use CFLs for these long-burning outdoor lights, I can use regular-base (E26) ones that cost $1 each or less. Thank you, BulbORama!

I bought a new lamp from Lowes. After getting home I found that the box had no light bulb as advertised and Lowes employees could not help in finding a bulb with the GU24 base. I ordered this adaptor and now I can use standard-based CFL bulbs. Thanks BulbOrama.

Don't know why my new house has GU24 outdoor light fixtures. The bulbs burnt out all the time and it was difficult finding replacements, which were also substantially more expensive than normal bulbs. These adapters work great.

(Follow up review.) Had already purchased and installed dimmer light switches for an existing e26 bulb light fixture and had a handful of spare bulbs. But when upgrading to a new light fixture design, was disappointed to find the sockets were for CFL mini bulbs which I don't care for. Purchased this adapter from Bulborama and the adapters work perfectly!!! Was able to use, and dim, my e26 bulbs. Have been trouble free for two months. I definitely recommend this purchase for an easy fix if you don't care to use those CFL bulbs.

I have a Harbor Breeze fan I bought from Lowes a few years ago. It has that silly GU24 socket. Always was hard to find bulbs and the price stunk! Searched for this adapter years ago but never found one until now. Works great! My only complaint is that the shipping cost was ridiculous!
