this light is great on a ar15 not to big i love the strobe function very bright . very good price but it has a short remote switch maybe 4" the wire is straight not a coiled wire .it would have been nice if it was coiled but would buy it again

I purchased this light to put on my rifle. When the light arrived I was suprised by how big the thing actually was. It's hard to tell from the picture, but the new focusing cone makes the thing almost twice as long as the TLR-1s. With that all being said, it really doesn't add all that much difference in weight. I don't know the exact ewight differences, but from holding the TLR-1s & TLR-1s HP side by side, I could not notice a significant difference in weight.

It is still a great light, and I will definitely keep it. I would give this 5 stars if it wasn't so big.

If you are looking for something small, go with the standard TRL-1.

This one came with the remote door already attached, and also included the pressure pad, which were both nice bouses. This is a steal for the price. Everything together costs twice the price at other retail places.

I wanted a long range bright light for my AR. I tried many different lights, but I just couldn't find one that had a good price, quality, and small.

This is the perfect light. I use this for my real steel and for my airsoft riffle. I practice with my TLR-1s HP at least once a week for 3-4 hours. It provides a really super bright beam with just the right amount of spread. I want to be able to see my enemy or friendlies, from a distance, and blind or disorient them up close. This does exactly that.

I really like the size of this light for the power it has. The pressure switch, along with all the essentials to securely attach it to your weapon is perfect.
