I use the low power flood when doing early morning/late night farm chores and switch to spot and scan a 1/5 mile perimeter for coyotes/exotic invasives when I pass my pond. This light is everything I need in one package, comfortable, and easy to turn on and off with heavy gloves. No complaints with functionality at all. I wish it could come in an all black version looks geeky enough without the bright orange.
