I wanted to wait until I had had a chance to fully test these before I reviewed them. I used to use halogen bulbs for my artist display at art shows, but thought it was not only time to go green, but thought that using LED bulbs would cut way down on the heat from lamps in my booth. Also, most of the art shows require that you don't go beyond a certain wattage, so many times with the halogens I've had to use less bulbs to comply. The only reason I have been reluctant to go with LEDs is because of the color. I didn't think they would cast my artwork in the best light, which would conversly affect sales. I bought 12 of these knowing I could return them if they were horrible. I also bought another cheaper LED for comparison. I set up my light bar over my artwork and put in one of these LEDs, one of the cheaper LEDs and one of my usual halogens. This LED came the closest to the warm color of the halogen. The cheaper LED was a sickly green..ugh. So, I recently did a show with all 12 of the LEDs I bought and they looked fantastic, and at only 5W each, I am unlimited in the number I can use, although 12 of them seemed to be quite sufficient. This was a great investment in my business and I feel good about going greener.

These were more cool colored than advertised. Not much, but it took a little bit of getting used to. But with the energy saving going from 45wat halogen bulbs it is worth it. I do like them now, it was just a shock
