These panels are great, they use CREE LEDs http://www.cree.com/ to answer the previous reviewer. The grow great plants for 1/3 the power consumption of a 1000watt High Pressure Sodium.

Please!! Do tell me who in the US makes these 3 watt chips??

In fact, tell me ANY company in the united states that makes LEDs other than ALTALed or Opto.

And i know that is not what these are.

Neither are designed for this function.
