I replaced three 7-watt incandescent stair lights with these. So, what used to take 21 watts and produced more heat than light now takes less than 3 watts, produces no notable heat, and a nice white light that actually illuminates the stairway very well.

It could not have been simpler to install. If only all my home improvement projects were this simple to do AND have such great results.

These are nice low power step lights... I have four for my staircase, and one for a bathroom. It's nice to not stumble around in the middle of the night.

My only complaint is that these LEDs should be energy star certified... but they aren't. My local power company would give me $15 bucks each had they been energy star certified.

I bought four of these lights for my new home construction and had them installed on the associated wall in order to provide lighting of the stair steps. They are a more expensive than I had planned to pay, but they a great addition to the house with very little electrical demands.
