Purchased a pair of outdoor pier lights to mount on 2 columns at our front entrance. The lights were polished brass with beveled glass panels and I knew they would look the best with clear bulbs with glowing filaments. As these types of incadescent bulbs are getting harder and harder to find and more expensive, I came across these on Amazon's site and figured why not give them a try.
Best purchase I have made in a while. These bulbs have exceeded my expectations as far as brightness and looks and come very close to emulating a candle burning. And at 3.5 watts per bulb, I am saving energy as well.
Can't rate the durability yet as they have only been installed a couple of days. So far they have come thru a FL thunderstorm and 95 degree weather OK. I will update the review if anything changes with my satisfaction of these bulbs.
worth the money.
