I've had this lantern about 3 weeks now. Initially I charged it for two sunny days and turned it off the first night so it could fully charge. Its brighter than I expected.

The light stays on from dusk till dawn and the lamp itself seems well made. The Pole sections however do not fit together well and it rocks back and forth.

*Update* After 2 months of working great it rained and the lamp would not turn off and died the next day.

When I first got this Lamp post. Packaging was not the greatest. But the instruction were excellent. With the best feature was it can be 4 different sectional height. I love it, I charged under the sun for 2 days before my first use. Very bright just like the sellers description. My electrician was going to charge me $200.00 to install a line in my back yard. Thanks to this solar lamp post my trouble is over. I am looking forward for their new product. For sure I would buy again. Also, I want to let all of the people know you can buy a 30" plant pot and put this solar lamp post in the center so you will not limit yourself to mount it on the concrete instead it will be able to move around in your garden where is needed. The lamp appears to be a quality made item, metal and I even like the fake incandescent bulb shape inside. We purchased one and mounted it to a paving stone. Looked great on our patio and the light, while not exceedingly bright, gave it just the right atmosphere. However, it recently stopped working and now we have a large and attractive fixture on the patio that no longer serves a practical purpose. I'm leaving it with the intention of opening it up to try to diagnose the problem I like it that much but no guarantees it will ever work again.

We bought these lamps to go around our pool. Since they were solar we wouldn't have to deal with electrical lines, etc with the water in close proximity. They arrived and were easy to put together. They worked the first night, but the second night one wouldn't work. We took it apart and a plastic piece that holds the battery in place had broken off. We glued it back, let it dry for a day, reassembled it and everything works fine. They come with screws to attach to wood, concrete, etc. We opted to mount them in the grass so purchased some long nails at Ace Hardware and anchored them to the lawn with the nails. Overall, we are pleased with them.
