I just want to warn others about the quality of the light from this bulb. It is not the same as a regular light bulb. It may be 50 watts, but the quality of the light makes the room look dull. It is not something that I would want for 8 years. In fact, I'm returning it. It may be economical, but don't expect the same quality of lighting as a regular GE or Sylvania bulb.

I was thrilled to find long lasting bulbs for the second story exterior light fixtures on my home. I ordered 13 of them and they arrived properly packed and in perfect condition. I have already installed them and they look and work great as accent lighting.

Since the government is trying to phase out incandescent bulbs it has made it very difficult to find bulbs I need for my home.

So, I have already had to submitted another order for a speciality type of bulb and a regular type of bulb that I use to be able to get at the big box hardware store.

I find the light very good, what I expected. I like the frost finish, it gives an even dispersion of light.
