These were purchased for the express purpose of lighting my door lock at night. This product does not hold the key firmly. The key slides all over inside the device. The only thing I can say about the fit, is that the key does not slide out. It does slide back far enough so as to not allow the key to go into the lock far enough to open the door. It was a standard kwickset type key. The product was not even as described on the back of its' own package. The package said that there were two screws which would have to be removed prior to inserting the key. There were no screws, it simply unsnaps. I definitely would not recommend the Presto key light.

A friend wanted a light for her key, NOT a keychain light. I found this on Amazon and it fit the bill.

It was very easy to install and throws a nice bright white light.

After my wife's old key light died we shopped around for a new one. I thought I'd get one for myself, too. This LED light is bright white. I have even used it as a flashlight to brighten the sidewalk at night. It was easy to insert the key in the holder. Arrived in good shape and on time.

I've had a similar keylight for years... but battery finally wore out.... could not find this product until recently on Amazon. Hope it will always be available as it makes opening my back door sooooo easy.

I bought my family these for Stocking Stuffers. I liked that they were LED lights, cuz all i could find was the ones that ran off of watch batteries. I wouldn't recommend this product, cuz u mainly have to take it apart to open your door. For one thing it's to big & bulky. So before u buy this, maybe u should think twice.
