We loved the way this light looks in the picture. Unfortunately it's more unsightly in person. The very top piece of the light is much larger than it appears in the photo, and in person it looks like the light is either wearing a boater hat or is mounted on a small non-stick cake pan. It extends lower from the ceiling than we had hoped and the metal is also much darker than it looks in the picture. I can't speak to its illumination capacity as we were instantly disappointed in its appearance once installed and never turned it on.This fixture is great looking and the light it produces is very bright. I will be pairing it with a dimmer soon.
