Great little lights with a warm amber, not white, glow. As there were no reviews for these when I ordered them, I actually ordered one set to see if I'd like them and, after checking them out, ordered a second set about a week later. A bit smaller than I thought they'd be but are more than adequate to illuminate my walkway. They are mostly plastic with a metal hanger and not metal and glass like the fancier (much more expensive) ones I replaced these with but are sturdy and glow longer than any solar lights I've had so far, even after a cloudy day. I am in South Florida though and most days are pretty sunny. Overall they look charming, glow brightly and, so far (about 6 weeks), have held up well to weather and bumps with the lawnmower.

I bought a set of 12 Brinkmann Pagoda lights some 10 years ago and their amber lights have made my back garden look beautiful for the last decade. At the time, I think amber LEDs in solar lights were quite common.

Since then, solar lights have gone to white LEDs. To me, white LEDs look so sterile to me with their cold bluish-white glow.

I've looked for years for replacements as my beloved amber lights have slowly died off one by one. (I even bought a set of amber solar lights out of China that turned out to have no relationship at all to the picture on the outside of the box. That's $80 I'll never get back.)

Finally, I came across these lights and noticed that some reviewers said they were actually amber even though the description said "white". So I ordered a set with my fingers crossed. And true to the other reviewers, these Brinkmann Hanging Mission lights do have amber LEDs and NOT white as stated in the description.

They aren't as big or quite as bright as my Brinkmann Pagodas but I'm not going to argue because my back garden is full of amber lights again!

I've already ordered another set and will probably stockpile two more sets later this year.

May your back garden look as good as mine in the dark!

(Four stars only because they don't have twin amber LEDs like my Pagodas did.)

They are perfect. I live across from a park that has night lights that have a similar design. These line my new sidewalk work just great.....now that I put new, more realible batteries in them!
