I returned this light, after chopping it out of its over-packaging. First thing I noted is that the "metal finish" is actually plastic, and rather cheesy at that. Definitely NOT "museum quality." Big mistake: I drilled holes for mounting onto the wall (rather nice design feature, I'll grant, with a built-in spirit level that you can ALMOST see) before I installed the batteries are tried to turn it on. Unit was DOA. Put it and the shredded packaging back in the box and off to Amazon refundland. Unit was manufactured in China and it shows...

On January 15 2012 I ordered this light for 27.26. Now I see it selling for 19.95. After using the light about 8 total hours, the good brand name batterys were dead. I bought a good name brand battery charger and rechargable batterys. This light ate those up just as fast. I would not recomend this light at all. Figure out a way to use an electric light.
