The Rite Lite set up is a pretty good deal. The lights have 3 settings that work by hand or the inclosed remote. You'll need 3x3 AAA Battery's. The remote comes with button type battery. The light globe is adjustable for angle. You can use the inclosed screws or sticky bottom pad to mount. The remote holder has this option too. Brightness is very good on high setting as you would expect. Can use up to 10 lights with one remote. The price from Amazon is right and so is the product.

I have been searching for something like this for years. I was always disappointed I didn't have lights in my partially finished basement that could turn on with a switch ( you have to walk in the darkness until you find the string to the lightbulb). This is such a cheap alternative and works great! With a press of a button these lights turn on..so impressed and pleased.Best Deals for Rite Lite LPL623WRC 5 LED Puck Light with Remote, 3-Pack
I was glad to see these pop up on Amazon recently as a 'NEW ITEM'. I've been waiting for a remote controlled LED solution for a shoe closet that had no outlets. I've tried using motion sensing LED puck style lights, but you end up being a slave to the timer.Amazon also has the "Lumen 3 Pack LED High Output Spotlights with Remote Control" but at nearly $100, it was too pricey for me.
At about 1/5 the price these fit the bill. These pucks take 3-AAA batteries (not included) each and the remote uses the flat button style lithium batteries (included). The lights are bright enough for a dark space.
The remote has a good range and still works well with minor obstructions. The remote button does the same action as pressing the button on the puck itself. There are 2-3 brightness settings, forget exactly how many, but I just use the brightest and click until its off. I'm not too concerned with battery life as I'm using high capacity NiMH rechargeables.
Would recommend this for anyone looking for a remote solution, since there aren't many options out there.
My only complaint is I wish they would incorporate more yellowish LEDs into these home use lighting solutions. I don't see many homes using ultra-white with bluish tint lighting, so it doesn't match well. Might be a nice project to try and open one of these up and replace the LEDs with ones with a warmer tone.
