Nice kit, I had planned to use this as under cabinet lighting but found they will not turn white, only variations of red, green, and blue. With remote they have a strobe/flash feature which would make them great for a kid's room or auto application. Adhesive is only as good as what it gets stuck to so have a backup plan for mounting.(edit) My apologies, a little maneuvering with connections has shown that this kit WILL go all white, with just a hint of blue.

The pins are very delicate, and don't take much to break. I received the outdoor version, which means the strip is encased in rubber.

The LEDs flicker. some colors worse than others. I don't see any flicker on red, but the other colors flicker, blues are the worst. It's not mild flickering, its obvious color changing flickers. Very irritating
