I got this item pretty quickly (6 days) considering the original location (New Jersey to California). The customer service from this seller is decent; fast replies and courteous manners, but he/she has bad, barely understandable English. Now on to the light itself.
I ordered this light mostly because it had a large bezel (roughly 4 centimeters). This light came with one 18650 Ultrafire Battery, but no charger, so be sure to order one if you don't already own one. It's made of some sturdy metal and doesn't feel like it will break any time soon, but I've only had it for 2 weeks.
The user interface is horrible. There are 5 modes (High, Medium, Low, Strobe, SOS). These are all controlled by the power switch, so when the light is turned on and off, when it is turned on again, it would be in the next mode. For example, if i turned the light off while in the Low mode, when I turned it back on, it would be on Strobe. For everyday use, this is only a minor gripe, yet because I was hoping to mount this light on my gun, to use a momentary on light, I was somewhat disappointed. This light lacks a momentary on feature. I have ordered a compatible (C8) pressure switch for this flashlight body and will soon see if this fixes the problem. I would just wish that the designers of this flashlight could use a different mode switching method such as twisting the bezel (Like my OLight).
The light is very bright, and has a nicely centered hot spot in the center that easily reaches 100 to 200 yards. The spread on the light is decent but the throw is exceptional for the price of this light ($18 when I bought it). The lens is made of glass, which does sometimes break easier, but will not cloud due to chemical decay. Also, when separating the button or head from the body, the threads feel rather loose (There are 2 O-Rings, but they don't seem to do much). However, when separating the upper bezel from the lower bezel to access the CREE emitter, the O-Ring seal there is sufficient.
To "adjust" this light, i simply unscrewed the body from the head, and loosened the upper bezel. Then i twisted the spring contact on the light, which would raise or lower the CREE Emitter in the reflector. But be careful, as if you unscrew it too much, the glass lens becomes loose and if its too much, the upper bezel does not screw back on properly. That's why I don't consider this flashlight to be adjustable, but minor adjustments can be made. Be careful though, the reflector is a fingerprint magnet and does not easily clean.
Note: Although it is rated at 400 Lumens, in comparison to my 320 Lumen Olight, I place it around the 300 to 350 Lumen mark.
Also, if you have OCD like me, and don't want the battery to shake around, simply wrap a 6 inch long piece of paper and insert into the body
Last Note: I can tell this was rather cheaply made because the Ultrafire logo and the CREE symbol were not properly printed on the flat part of the body. They were both offset about one centimeter. This does not affect the function of the light, but shows me the ineffectiveness of the Quality Control
Pros:
Cheap
Sturdy
Bright
Decent, quick response Customer service
Strike Bezel
5 modes (kind of a bad thing due to the UI, but its somewhat good)
Cons:
Overstated brightness
Horrible User Interface
Not very waterproof
Feels sturdy, yet kind of cheaply made (molding marks in interior visible)
5 modes (kind of a bad thing due to the UI, but its somewhat good)
Bad Packaging (Came in a Manila Envelope with bubble warp)
Comes with battery but no charger (Get a 18650 3.7v charger)
Final Note/Impressions: Overall, this is a great light for only $18, and I was somewhat disappointed because of my high expectations. The major gripes with this light is the User Interface and lack of effective O-Rings. For general use, this is a great thrower (Long Range) flashlight, but for tactical use (momentary on, gun mounted, etc), you're better off with a Surefire or OLight.
For the price, this is a great flashlight. 4 stars because I really think the UI lowers the flashlight quality.

Yeah you really can't beat the Ultrafire flashlights. I mean for $10 this is a great flashlight and the 300LM is bright enough any more than that and your replacing a lot more batteries. I ordered 2 of these 1 for me & 1 for my GF and they came nicely packaged in a box with a foam layer inside as well as the charger which I was not expecting.I charged up the 18650 3.7V batteries and boom I see the light..!
These are way better than any cheap crappy bulb flashlight you can buy at Walmart. Don't go back to the bulb...Go LED flashlight..with the Ultrafire.
I will buy more of these for family for a good little X-mas present..! Not only are the flashlights great and very bright they both came with chargers and very well packaged which I was not expecting. I would definitely buy from this seller again probably before X-Mas..
Best Deals for Ultrafire C8 Q5 5 Mode Cree Led Flashlight with 300 Lumen Output
Runs pretty long on a charge.Super long throw.
It has a nice feature that if battery level gets low,
it will not let you select high, only med, low, SOS and strobe.
It's nice not to have to buy 123A's for my SureFires all the time.
Honest reviews on Ultrafire C8 Q5 5 Mode Cree Led Flashlight with 300 Lumen Output
Like another review I made, these lights get extremely hot and the batteries are rather pricey but you really want to invest in quality batteries. No 5 star on this because I am not a fan of the beam on this one (Ultrafire C8 Q5 5 Mode Cree Led Flashlight with 300 Lumen Output). The beam is a decent 3 feet spotlight with 4 inch extra bright spot in the center.
Still for the price.. Nice..
