The GE 45612 incandescent dimmer went in without issue and joined the Z-Wave network just fine, using a high-power (no proximity needed) include.
I was surprised to see that this switch does not require a Neutral connection. Just Hot and Load are sufficient, similar to an ordinary light-switch. This also implies that it requires some amount of cold/off conductivity, so I wouldn't attempt to use any CFL or LED bulbs.. it is rated for incandescent only.
Note that the aluminum frame is large, and fits nicely over a single-switch box. If you want to have a pair of these side-by-side, you will likely have to break off the aluminum tabs from one side of each switch. This required vice grips to do cleanly.
The Blue LED can be selected to be on with the light, or on when the light is off. Very nice.
It also has a programmable option for "upside-down" installation.
No issues, and in my particular installation with a 60W bulb, no noticeable buzzing at any brightness.

These dimmers have an unwritten spec for minimum wattage. They work perfectly with LED if you pull at least 40 watts of actual draw. I have fans that use three bulbs and put in 14 watt bulbs, works fine. Put in 10 or 12 watt, no dice.
