I can't believe I'm going to write such a long review about finger lights, but here goes...
I've purchased finger lights before, and they were everything my kids hoped they'd be: they've had a very long life, the switch is easy to push, and the elastic is made of a comfortable black cloth. These are a whole different story.
First, and most important, most of them didn't work properly. Out of 40 lights, 22 were useless: 6 didn't light up at all, 6 lit up so weakly that you couldn't even tell they were lit, and 10 could light up only if you held onto them and squeezed them hard in some elusive way (different for each one).
Officially, the other 18 lights worked, but 11 of them had switches that were so difficult to operate that I didn't want to give them to a bunch of kids who would just find them frustrating.
That left 7 good finger lights. Out of 40. I guess I can't expect more for something I paid less than $8 for.
Aside from the fact that they don't work, they also don't match the description. First, the picture implies that they have a black cloth elastic. Nope. It's a rubbery colored elastic, which might be fine but looks like it'll split soon enough. I guess I'd be okay with this if the lights actually worked.
Second, they are described as having an "easy push button." It is misleading to describe the on/off switch as a "button." And as I've already said, many of them are very hard to turn on, so "easy" is also a misnomer.
Third, the description says you get "10 packs of 4 lights" and "each package will contain 4 finger lights each with a total of 10 packages you will receive." Nope. I received 40 lights all in a plastic bag, not 10 separate packs with the cardboard "hand" package pictured above. Again, not a big deal if the lights work!
Last, the description also says you get "a total of 10 white finger lights, 10 blue finger lights, 10 red finger lights, and 10 green finger lights." I got 7 white lights, 10 blue lights, 10 red lights, and 13 green lights. Close, but another nope. This definitely wouldn't have been a problem for me--in fact, I probably wouldn't have even counted the colors--but since they don't work and I'm writing this review, I might as well be thorough!
I don't know where to buy good finger lights, but these aren't them!

For my daughter's 10th Birthday Party we had a DJ Hero Club theme and I ordered these for the kids to put on their fingers. I liked this product specifically because the bands are elastic, instead of Velcro. The elastic made putting them on, keeping them on, and taking them off fast and easy. I did find that the band would slide OUT of the unit on occasion, but was easily put back on. All of the units worked for the few hours we needed them, with maybe 20% running out of power after 2 hours after being in a constant ON position. I would estimate the average running life is 2.5-3 Hours for each unit. I would HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone looking for a little added effect at a low cost.Pros: Cheap, Easy to Use, Most units worked for hours, good amount of colored light beam
Cons: Sometimes the bands would slide out of the unit but was quickly put back on, some units only lasted a few hours

I ordered this from Blink Blink City for end of year parties for school classes. There were several that didn't work. Contacted the seller who said they would send out new ones immediately. Never got them and the seller never responded to subsequent e-mails. Disappointing! The finger flashlights are fun for the kids and are a novelty item that doesn't last a long time. The lights were different colors instead of just a white lightVery Cool.
Would have been happy if all of the flashlights would have worked when they arrived!
