I installed one of these in my motorhome, over the couch, in the bottom of an overhead cabinet. I previously had a fixture with a 10 Watt halogen bulb in that location. As part of converting my entire motorhome interior to LEDs, this new fixture was installed. The new fixture doesn't give quite as much light as the halogen bulb, but is adequate for reading, & draws only 170 milliamps.
