I am using these to control LED lights (Trex stair lights which I am 99.9% certain are made by De-Kor for Trex) I have installed in my decks.
The dimmers work as advertised (they do not dim to 0.. more like 5 or 10%). But... there is some power leakage when turned off.
I purchased 5 of these and have tested 4so far with the same results... when shut off, there is still 1 or even 2 lights that are Very faintly on (even below the lowest dimmable level when on). It is usually 1 light in a total of 20 on the run (and not always the same light). My guess is an issue with the circuitry.
fyi... All of my connections are soldered and and enclosed with silcon gel caps as well as inside watertight boxes/conduit. The main line is Low Voltage 16 gauge stranded.
Regardless of the connection, it appears that power is not "completely" cut at times. I will probably be looking at another solution in the future (possibly a Reign led dimmer).
I could prob give them 4 stars for the price and would give 5 if they didn't leak power... but when power is off, it should be completely off.
fyi.. these appear to be the same dimmers offered by Trex (aside from the controls also being on the box that version can be found elsewhere as well) at approx 1/5 the price.

Well it works for turning LEDs on and off remotely, and the remote for this works from a Long long way away. Only thing is it definitely doesn't dim the led's.the descriptIon said that it dimmed them, and if it wasn't for the fact that the remote works to turn them on or off from so far away I would've given it one star.
If all you need to do is turn led's on or off then this unit will work amazingly well, but once again it DOES NOT DIM
