Many bulbs claim to be full spectrum white light, but are actually blue. This is actually exactly what it claims to be. To test I used the white balance on my camera that I use for sunlight. I had to make a very slight adjustment, but it was still within the same preset. And it has 3 wattage settings.. glad I bought this bulb!

The thing about common CFL bulbs is that if you shoot on webcams or iPhones or whatever, the color balance shifts everything to a very very yellow tint. This bulb restores white balance to your internet media empire.

Nice bright light, if you like "warm" lights this is not for you. I like bright so it's great and the three available settings make it versatile enough for my living room lighting needs.

The bulb has a distinct 3 levels of output but the coloration is too cold for my liking. My place is not dark but has a warm feel to it with my home filled with medium dark wood and earth colors it's just too cold and looks out of place.

On the other hand if you're into the bright whites and light colors this light source is sure to please.
