Product is NOT equivalent to the 50W Halogen lamp it replaced. It is approximately half as effective. Two of the four lamps failed within 30 days of installation, far below the advertised double life. I'm totally dissatisfied with this product and sill seek a full refund.

I installed six of these bulbs to replace the 50W Halogens in my kitchen overhead fixture. Of three separate orders these are the only ones that are a true replacement for the 50W Halogens. Both brightness and color are excellent. You won't regret having bought these bulbs....

Light is good, bright and warm but not as a 50W halogen.

I bought 6 light bulbs and 5 of them had failed in a few weeks! 1 burned out in two weeks and the others starts to blink just after. Customer service seems to be suportive however I needed to resend the defective parts to receive the replacements. It is a hassle since I live overseas from US. They advertise it to last five times longer and 20000hours life average, five of them didn't last more than ordinary 10hours.

What is the point of having a GU10 base if the bulb itself is too long? I have three light fixtures that require a GU10 bulb. This would not fit in two of them. In the third fixture they would have fit, but looked ridiculous since the bulb would stick out past the light base shade. I bought a competitors product (cree) and it fit my fixture beautifully. However, I could not find a warm white in that bulb. So, I ordered this one. I am returning it.

Finally some GU10 LED lights with some lumens (that emit warm light). Our recessed fixtures use to overheat and turnoff every few minutes. These eliminated that problem and actually provided warm light to the counter tops. Highly recommend.
