This light is adorable, even for me, an adult, and it seems sturdy, too.

The lights are nice and bright and because there are 4 of them, they shine evenly on my kindle.

The clip is not flimsy at all, and the gooseneck seems to be of a type that will hold its shape and not become limp after a few times of bending it.

The only annoying thing is the itty bitty screwdriver that you will need to get the flap off to install the batteries. This is the second product I've seen this year that uses this design. I wish manufacturers would go back to the slide/snap design that worked so well for years, which did not require a screwdriver.

The problem is the battery compartment. The screw that you have to detach to put the batteries in is in such an odd place that it is almost impossible to get it out. When you put the batteries back in, the screw does not stay in place, making the batteries dislodge and the light blink. It is a poor design and a waste of money.

Super cute book light and it works great IF you can get the batteries into the battery compartment. The screw it so small that not even the eyeglass screw driver worked. Then it was screwed in so tight we couldn't get the compartment open so in trying so hard we ended up cracking the plastic around the screw then I used a hemostat to take the screw out and I continue to use it. I just taped the battery cover on so it works but it was pretty frustrating.

Love the light. My daughter loves it. But dealing with the batteries is horrible. A very itty bitty screw makes the whole battery ordeal a challenge. Thankfully I eventually got the thing unscrewed and after A LOT of effort screwed back on. So...hopefully the batteries last a very long time.

I got this for my 7 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it! It provides plenty of light for reading. It requires a couple of AAA batteries. It has 4 bright little LED bulbs in it. You can position the light any way you need and it stays in place. The only thing that is slightly bothersome, is that the clip is quite big and thick which prevents the pages of the book from laying flat when the light is clipped to the back cover of the book. You can clip together all the pages together with the back cover, but it's a pain to have to un-clip and then re-clip again. Also, I must add that this light comes in handy for many other things. I needed light in a tight space while I was putting together an air hockey table and I was able to clip this to the side of the table and bend the light underneath where I needed it. Over all, I would say this is a very good product and would recommend it to anyone who loves Hello Kitty and loves to read.
