Provides excellent light for reading documents but the tension adjustment on the base to the neck doesn't work properly and leaves it impossible to keep it in a usable position when lowered. Needs a shim or washer which wasn't part of the package.

This is a top notch product. It's very stable and easy to use. The head articulates so there is never an issue with magnification or clarity when working on materials with odd angles.
