You need the installation instructions to determine which unit is needed. After a call to tech support I was told this was the unit to use for dimmer control when using an electronic transformer for 12v lamps in an entertainment center. This is a radio based dimmer so it works through solid doors using the PICO remote. It works well and I'm happy with it. Would recommend it to others who have a similar need.
