Bought the 5w version first and then saw these. Seemed like a newer design, so I thought it might be just as bright at a lower wattage. Seems almost as bright, and pretty good, but it does make a slight buzzing sound. Not too bad but it is noticeable if it is quiet. For now I will go back to the 5 watt version, which is a little brighter and silent.
