This bulb is bright (but a bit cool colored) and fit into my existing fixture. At $10 it is a reasonable. I've been gradually replacing halogen spots in my retail store with LED bulbs. The issue is getting ones that are bright enough (even when they say they are a 50W replacement). The key is in the lumen number. 50W halogen are in the 500-650L range. Most replacement LED bulbs are much lower so they are really equivalent to 30W bulb. This bulb seems to put out more light and is significantly cheaper than other $30 bulbs. The light is a bit cold but it seems to be fine in our application. My electric bill is down over $100/month since we started replacing bulbs.
