I bought 10 of these to replace halogen bulbs in my kitchen. I had previously spent $25/bulb at HomeDepot for the Phillips brand bulbs. These were delivered within a week with free shipping, and had minimal packaging (both pluses in my book). They all work, my switch has a dimmer and that feature works fine. I would have given 5 stars but they are definitely 15-20% dimmer than the much more expensive brand. However, I am perfectly happy with them as they provide enough lighting for my needs and at this price, you can't go wrong.

I've found there are two issues with LED MR16 bulbs: Fit and color. Most of them are too long. They don't fit fixtures because they stick out. This bulb is almost exactly the dimensions of a halogen MR16 and that works. Color is another story. Despite Kelvin ratings there is a variance in the color appearance of LED lights. They do not match halogen exactly. This one is acceptable, but a bit on the green shade. Once you get used to it, it's OK. I'm going with these for my kitchen. Still waiting for the perfect MR16 LED bulb. That would be an exact size and color of a halogen.

This LED bulb probably deserves 4 out of 5 stars as there are other MR16 LED bulbs with better beam spread, CRI, lumens/watt, etc. But this is the only affordable LED bulb that I have found that is nearly that same standard length as halogen MR16 bulbs. I have several different MR16 housings/enclosures, but on a couple of them, they could not accommodate the longer length of MR16 bulbs.

Tested a couple different LED MR16 bulbs that claimed to be dimmable. I have Lutron dimmers on 120V line voltage lights. This works well at all but the lowest settings on the dimmer. The light doesn't compare to the warm, golden glow of a halogen, but hey, these are the trade-offs we have to make to save 80% electricity consumption.

Bought two to replace some burnt out landscape lighting bulbs. They turn on as fast as the old halogen bulbs and are almost the same color. Going to buy some extra for when more of the halogen bulbs burn out.
