I have 2 of these in my underwater light fixtures in my pond. They replaced 35 watt halogen in each fixture and the light is better! These are over a year and are operating 4 hours each night EVERY day. They MUST be on a regulated power supply 12v dc for max life. Transformers for landscape lighting can be set to higher voltages to account for line loss (for incandescent) lighting. They also can surge on start up or on off cycles and damage led lighting. I use only regulated power supplies and discarded landscape transformers-then used led lamps. I have 5 supplies for my leds in numerous places with no failures over 2 years total. I have many types of led lighting inside and outside.

Very poorly made, housing metal is so thin that there are holes in many places. Scares me, kinda worry about these catching on fire.

Bought 3 lamps and 2 died after 40 minutes of use. Wouldn't recommend these to my worst enemy. Absolutely useless.
