This is such a simple little light. It's just right for my Kindle3. Since the Kindle isn't back-lit, I'm glad to have this for power outages, or for reading in bed. Cute and inexpensive, too. Very satisfied with it.

Does the job and has more than adequate light to read. the flexible neck stays in the position you set it and stays there even after you set it down. the quality is great.

I bought this light about a month ago, to use on my music notebook. I am back-up pianist for our regular church pianist and sometimes there isn't enough light that shines directly on my music, so I purchased this lamp and another one. I found this lamp to be better at lighting the entire page without shadows. The other was a little too small for notebook size pages. I like this lamp so well, I have purchased another one to have sufficient light on the entire notebook (one light will cover just one side of an opened notebook).

I'd give this little light seven stars if I could. I suppose it's because I haven't bought a book light since LED tech really came into its own, but these provide great light and despite using 3 AAA batteries are light enough to clip to a paperback and still hold the book comfortably (even lying down, holding the book in the air). The clip stays secure, the flexible neck provides a lot of versatility and the price cannot be beat. I bought one for my wife as well and she loves hers, too. I threw out two old book lights that I paid twice as much for a couple of years back.

I bought one of these years ago, and to this day it sits on my desk. It has been through the washer, through the dryer, under cars, left in the cold, left in the snow, left in the heat, left by the pool, and left between the sheets. But I eventually find it, flip it on and get reading.

The batteries last forever due to the single LED in it, so you could leave it be for years and it would still work.

After awhile the metal neck starts to get a bit temperamental, not wanting to twist the way you want due to wear and tear.
