I purchased these when I took down the Christmas decor and the kids exclaimed that they would miss the twinkling lights from the mantle and other garlands in the house. I put these in a large vase on the hearth of the fireplace and they look great! They add that warm glow at night that adds a nice touch to the room at night! What a great idea...never would have considered it if they hadn't said something.
