Product worked perfectly and wire is similar to the recharging cord from an iPhone.
I was able to hook up a 2nd string of 16ft LED lighting, hide the extension from view to create two separate LED lighting strings in my backyard.
One end is male the other female.
Make sure you have the right ends on your LED lights so you have proper connections.
