The final end result was great...good light output (bright and good, clean color...not yellow/green).However, with the limited instructions, it was not an easy process. I am not an electrician but I am fairly knowledgable about electrical wiring and fairly handy. It took me about an hour after doing some research online how to make the wiring work in my set-up. These tubes only are powered on one end (SEP?). My fixture was set up with power on both ends. With the "tombstones" in my fixture (the slide-in and rotate type), I needed to dedicate one side to "L" (line) and one side to "N" (neutral). This means that when installing the bulbs I need to make sure I have them aligned correctly (L to L, N to N) and then rotate them correctly (so that the contacts match up and, since LED bulbs only put out light in one direction, that the light is directed in the right direction.
The bulbs seem to be well constructed and work well. There is a slight delay (1-2 sec) when they turn on, but not bad. Once on, they work well with nice, bright light output. If you don't mind doing a little investigation and are fairly handy, the end result is good.

Quiet, steady, and bright. A huge improvement over the fluorescent tubes the replaced. Between the lower energy cost and the projected lifespan, they'll pay for themselves in 2 years.Honest reviews on LEDwholesalers Brightest 20 Watt 4-foot T8 T10 T12 LED Tube Light
Ok, I read the reviews and knew what to expect before they arrived. And, I have electrical experience so I knew that the modifications required would be no problem. However, when Saturday morning arrived, I was surprised at how easy and quickly the install went. The units arrived the day before in two days (prime member here) in a long Amazon box. They were individually packed in their own tubular cardboard containers with plastic protectors over the pins. Plastic film protected the lense. There is very little noise to speak of but there is a 1.5 second turn-on delay, but really no longer than the the blinking startup of the fluorescents being replaced. Only two units were needed to get the same output as four fluorescent tubes; four LEDs would have been overpowering and expense.
Not everything is perfect and these are not. The documentation is bad but the reviews here more than make up for the lack of detail. Also, the color of the light is definitely "Cool White", which is what the builder put in our fixture originally and works best in our application (pantry). The last time we replace the tubes, we used the soft white so these units were a reminder of when things were new.
While I was ok with $37ea for LED technology, this was still was expensive compared to a standard fluorescent replacements. My deciding factor to spend the money was the fact that one of the ballasts was failing and I was considering buying and installing a brand new fixture.
