Nice and bright, get pretty warm, but in the water they stay cool, do a nice job of lighting up my stream from the waterfall to the main pond areaUPDATE: these stopped working in march of 2013, so barely got 6th months use out of them, they were placed in a stream for my pond, will see if vender will replace them
UPDATE2: vender, Life and Home, said there was only a 30 day return policy and to contact the manufacturer, will make sure never to buy from them again
