this light is sturdy and bright, but I wish that its wire were longer. I had to splice a piece of wire in order to connect it to the power source, which was not very far away. Otherwise, it is a great product at an affordable price. Plus, it showed up the day after I ordered it.

These 50 watt flood lights are ideal to accent an exterior wall of your home or a tree in your landscaping. The lamp is made of die cast metal and is corrosion resistant. It has a large clear glass window in the lens and the body is coated in a black matt finish. They feature adjustable aiming and they can even point straight up.

These lights are a nice way to light up your home and improve home security by lighting those dark corners around your house while enhancing the appearance of your property. We have had ours for over 4 years and we are still happy with them.

I recommend them to you as a good product!

Product is well built and holds up in the weather elements. I would recommend these over most other products you may find

Honest reviews on Malibu 8301-9601-01 50 Watt Cast Metal Flood Lights, Black Matte

Used these to replace existing lights that have been in for 7-8 years. Work fine so far and have ordered additional. Easy to install to replace existing, I would recommend NOT using the clip that punctures the existing electrical wire. I cut, striped and attached wires with screw on cap and electrical tape for extra protection. I wish the halogen bulbs lasted longer, but that has been a problem unless LED are used.

Where the two pieces join and lock together, the area is prone to corrosion that literally locks the two together and cannot be separated. Using a small ratchet handle, I was able to separate them by tapping around the side of the light, thus breaking the corrosion and then I used white lithium grease to prevent further corrosion from occuring.
