awesome flashlight the absolute brightest i own. i have flashlights costing upwards of $50 and this thing out shines them all. flood will light up my entire yard,on spotlight/zoom, (though when zoomed light takes on square shape) it will easily hit 50-75 yrds very nice light seems rugged enough to handle some mistreatment. very pleased highly recommend!!!well worth the money!!

I own a cree xml t6 flashlight just like this one. It is not the same name but the same case design, color and description. It is very bright! My brightest flashlight by far. It can be used as a spotlite when zoomed out. One problem with mine is every time you turn it on the lite goes to the next mode. So you have to shut it off on the mode before the mode you want it to come on. I still like it because you can use the cheaper AAA batterys or one 18650 battery. And you can adjust the zoom from flood to a tight spotlight beam. (Even the flood is bright at about a 10 foot diameter at 8 ft away) (My beam will be square on the tightest zoom) Other xml t6 flashlights give you no option for batterys or zoom you are stuck with what it is. But i still gave it 5 stars because of how bright it is just on 3 AAA batterys!!! I don't see how it can get that much light out of just 4.5 volts? People say it will be brighter with the 18650 battery it is 3.7 volts. I did not let it on high for a long time and get it real hot so a i can not say if it may overheat if you do that. But i like it also for the price (I paid almost $14.00) I have a led coleman flashlight i got years ogo and paid $50.00 big ones and this xml t6 will blow it away for brightness!!!!! Also the switch fell out of the coleman. Im sure there is much more costly flashlighs selling right now that are not near as bright with no zoom. It may not be a full 1800 lm? Now the other flashlights may last longer than this one? It is not perfect but I like my xml t6 1800 lm light.
