The specs say it puts out 630 lumens. I would say more like 200. I placed it side by side with a $50 750 lumen par 38 bulb with similar beam pattern from home depot. There is a tremendous difference. The Lux reading 3 ft from this bulb is 165 wheras the lux reading 3 ft from my 750 lumen bulb is 1400. On second thought, the $50 bulb does have a slightly tighter beam, however there is still a tremendous difference Daylight vs Twilight.
And the bulb color is not very white. It is notably yellow, not so great for showing off a home.
When I use two of these bulbs in the kitchen, I notice that one is much more yellow than the other. That is sort of odd. And it casts a slightly apparent yellow and green pattern onto the white wall from the discrete leds within the bulb. I believe most people would have an issue with different colors coming from identical bulbs in adjacent fixtures in a home and vague yellow green patterns on the wall. If you have a really nice room with nice decor and furniture that you want to display, then you don't want these bulbs.
Mine were not dimmable with a triac type dimmer. Don't know what the specs say on this.
On the other hand, I tried them in two fixtures on the outside of the home and they were not so bad there. Outside, the color temperature does not seem to matter. Bricks and bushes still look like bricks and bushes. Once again, the brightness is not so impressive, but seems more acceptable outside. They won't scare someone off with blazing luminosity, but they seem to provide good ambient security lighting.
In summary, they are 'warm' and slightly yellow (says 3500k). Don't use them in areas of the home where you need dimming, much brightness or need a homogeneous, white light. They seem quite suitable for outdoor security lightning and offer a moderate light output in a PAR38 package for a very low wattage.

I bought 1 of these PAR38 bulbs to test in my kitchen can lights. Immediately after screwing this Warm White light into the socket, I knew I had find the right bulb after 3 other LED bulb experments. I immediately went back to Amazon and ordered 5 more to complete the kitchen light bulb change over. Great light output, they look good on the socket, no warmup time like CFLs and the warm white color seems just right, even my wife approves. When I move I'm taking these bulbs with me.2013 Over two years later and these bulbs are still working great

I bought 2 of these LED "warm white" for recessed lights in the kitchen. It's bright, equivelent to 65 or 75 watt. But the color it produces is not warm white. The color is more greenish yellow. And it gives off minor streaks of light even though theres a cover to "diffuse" the multiple SMD lights inside. I put one in the garage and laundry room. I ordered 5 of the bulbs. Two were correct Two were labeled the same but were in different boxes and did not produce the same light. One did not work at all. The construction quality of this item is quite poor compared to similar LED bulb products.What's worse, the item is advertised to provide 630 lumens, but it provides 100 lumens at best (it's hard to estimate luminance by eyeballing, but compared with other lamps which provide 500 lumens, it's significantly dimmer).
I am returning this product and will never buy this brand again.
