We purchased this and the 2 spot and 4 spot version. We have used them in our walk in closets and on top of a cabinet to wash the ceiling in light. They are great lights. It is so easy to have the light go exactly where you want it. They have a very clean bright light.

Light fixture is in closet. Found lovely halogen lamp under $50, all customer reviews said it was an optimum solution. Checked building code and learned that halogen lights are not approved for closets because of safety concerns related to heat build-up, nor, are any fixtures that do not have covers on the light bulb. Have been watching the evolving LED solutions and knew Phillips was a global leader. LED can be very unpleasant, but this fixture is clean, functional (with the lights directed on each of the three walls) and bright and natural, which is ideal for seeing clothes and colors. As time goes on, and, hopefully prices go down, I plan to replace each of the closet lights with the same fixture--several with only two lights required, and, as offered. This was a valuable lesson for me on safety, and, I hope this information will help others to make wise choices to protect their safety. And, note, for this fixture, function does follow form.
